Coagulants and Flocculants
Solid Liquid Separation can be carried out by clarification, sedimentation, centrifugation and filtration. GP Chems has different solutions with coagulants and flocculants products, which increase the settling rate, reduce turbidity and suspended solids, increase the overflows and improves filtration, allowing to reduce the final humidity of the mineral concentrate.
The water clarification occurs with the coagulation and flocculation processes. The coagulation is the neutralization of the negative electric charges of the colloidal particles that generates the turbidity of the water with the application of a coagulant, then the flocculation consists in the grouping of the discharged particles and the suspended solids with the addition of a flocculant, to form large solids called flocs that can sediment quickly or be separated at a later stage such as sedimentation.
Our have the follows products:
- Organic Coagulants: liquids and emulsion with different molecular weights and concentration of PolyDADMAC y Poliaminas.
- Flocculants: Polyacrylamides with anionic and nonionic charge with high molecular weight, available in granulated poder and emulsion.
